Call for Participation
 
The First International Summer School on Business Intelligence will be held at the Center for Forecasting Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, from 20-23 July 2009.

The main course or program of BI Summer School 2009 will include lectures, discussions, BI case study by leading authorities in the fields of advanced BI technology and applications. Reports from enterprise leaders in deploying and exploiting BI applications will complement lectures from research leaders shaping future BI research direction.

The BI Summer School 2009 will conclude with an integrating practice that will enable students, working in teams, to bring together all they have learnt. During the school, participants will meet like-minded students from many parts of the world, working in many disciplines, and form valuable long-term working relationships.

Who should apply?

Applications are invited from the target audience: enthusiastic and ambitious researchers who have recently started or are about to start working on BI projects. Students may come from any countries and from fields including statistical science, intelligence science, computational science and any application discipline. The school will assume that students have diverse backgrounds, however, in order to fully participate in the practical exercises, applicants should have some basic statistical knowledge for BI training practices.
